We started our trip with an hour and a half flight to LAX. We had a several hour layover so we hung out at the American Airlines club to kill time. One of the benefits of flying business class plus a benefit of Amex’s Platinum card. Our American 777 left a bit late at about 8:30 after we settled into our seats and started watching movies. We both took half a sleeping pill and did the best we could to get some shut eye during our 12 hour flight. The food and wine was OK, the sleep pretty good. We’ll pick up what happened on arrival in the next post.
