The time is going by faster and faster as we get closer to leaving. So many last minute details, notes, lists, bills, plans, etc. Setting up on-line bill pay for ALL of our bills (I did have some set up, but not ALL). Final house related plans, making sure the cat and dog are ready to go to our friends house (shots, extra food, hair cuts), plugging in the car chargers, plant water schedules, etc. The biggest thing still on my list is to PACK!
Packing for 90 days is a bit like packing for the rest of your life…you need a little bit of everything. I have all of our medications, both precautionary and planned as well as beauty products, sunscreen, bug spray and the like. How much face creme will I use in 90 day?? I really don’t know, so I bring a few extra just in case (can’t run out of face creme!). Clothing is a whole other problem…luckily we are mostly in warmer climates for this trip so only light jackets required!
It will be great when the planning is behind us and we can actually relax and enjoy our trip. We don’t look at this as a vacation – we both take the blog and the photography very seriously…sort of like a job to us. We are happy so many folks have subscribed to this blog and we hope to entertain, enlighten and inform. Comments welcome!

Donna Johnson - Wow!!! I’m so jealous! As much as I travel….we have never been to so many wonderful places in 3 months!! We absolutely loved the Pacific Islands when we were there on the Bella Donna! You will too!! Moorea was one of out favorite places. That’s where I swam with the Sting Rays! What a great experience!! But that’s as far as I went. The guys went on to New Zealand. Another place on my bucket list as well as Dubai, Egypt and Jeresulem!! Wow! And India too!! OK…..this sounds like maybe I should start planning this kind of a trip for next year!! Wouldn’t even know how to go about planning a trip for 3 months!!! But….Can’t wait to read your blog and hear about all of your adventures!!! I’m so happy for both of you!! Getting to do all these fun things when you’re still young and in really good health!! May you always stay that way!!!
Tom and I are in Kona for 3 weeks and loving the weather here!!
Happy New Year and Bon Voyage!!! Looks like you are getting a great start with 2012!! xoxo Donna
